Upstairs at Gallery Seventeen is a teaching studio where our art classes take place. We hold both daytime and evening classes in ceramics, drawing, and watercolour; the classes are perfect for both beginners and more experienced artists.

Gallery Seventeen is conveniently located around the corner from Beckenham Junction train station and tram stop, therefore is easily accessible from Victoria, Croydon and Bromley. We are also just across the road from a bus stop with regular buses to and from Bromley, Lewisham, Penge, Crystal Palace and Elmers End.

Weekend Course Timetable

SATURDAY & SUNDAY – Planning and hand building your ideas in a small group with lots of one-to-one help.

MONDAY (optional)

Leave your work with us for 2 + weeks to dry and have its first firing.

Glaze Day- Finalize your ideas for colour and texture, then glaze your pieces.

You need not have worked with ceramics before, hand built pieces can be made in easy stages with help and a guiding hand.

You will work in our studio in a small group of no more than 8 people.

The next dates are as follows:

2022

July 23^rd, 24^th, 25^th + glaze day 3 x spaces

October 8^th, 9^th, 10^th + glaze day 1 x spaces

November 12^th, 13^th, 14^th + glaze day FULL

2023

January 14th, 15th, 16th + glaze day 4 x spaces

(We recommend early booking as these spaces are taken quickly)
